Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, PAs, APRNs, RNs, pharmacists, psychologists, dietitians, social workers and other healthcare providers. 

Conference Educational Objectives                                

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe how federal agencies are implementing a syndemic approach to addressing epidemics of HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, COVID-19, MPXV, and substance use disorders.
  • Identify how barriers to care impact health outcomes
  • Describe a synchronized syndemic approach to mitigating and ultimately eliminating syndemics and pandemics.
  • Identify training and educational opportunities that support Black women’s health.

Physician Continuing Education

PA Continuing Medical Education

PACE has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 7.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Psychologist Continuing Education
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Social Work Continuing Education

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Partners for Advancing Clinical Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 7.25 clinical continuing education credits.

Dietitian Continuing Education

This program offers 7.25 CPEUs for dietitians.
